Introducing Quiet Windows

A new product line by Soundproof Windows!

Effectiveness

We have tested our competition in the sound lab.  We beat all of our competition (except one).

We have bought windows from most (all) of our competitors and taken them to the sound lab.  We tested them in the independent lab using the exact same criteria – making certain it is an honest apples to apples comparison.  The results prove that only one company offers a higher STC window than we do.  In fact, our STC numbers are better than all of our competitors, except that one.

This graph shows the lab test results that prove we are better than everyone except Soundproof Windows, Inc. (the black lines). The higher the line, the more noise is stopped at each sound frequency. The Quiet Window is the red line.

We have only identified the competitor that is better than us.

Quiet Windows STC Ratings

None of the other competitors have lab tested their windows and we do not want to tell/give them their test results.  We paid a lot of money to have everything tested in the labs – they have not (or they have but do not want to reveal those results because they are worse than the industry leader).

You probably already know what STC means.  Very briefly it is a measurement of how much noise is stopped by something (a window in this case).  The higher the number the better, each increase in number represents a large change.  So here are the numbers in chart form:

Window Glass STC
Soundproof Windows, Inc.  3/8” laminated glass 50
Soundproof Windows, Inc.  1/4” laminated glass 48
Quiet Window  3/8” acrylic 42
Competitor  3/8” laminated glass 41
Competitor 1/4” laminated glass 40
Competitor 1/4” acrylic 36
Original windows used to test the above 25

Analysis Of These Results

The simple truth.  If you want the best results, go with Soundproof Windows, Inc. – they are the best.

Since we use 3/8” acrylic, our results are comparable to the other competitors that use glass, so other factors would likely control your decision (pricing, shipping, etc.).  Other windows that use acrylic in any thickness below 3/8” are definitely less effective.  Most of our pricing research shows they actually cost more than our Quiet Windows (this may change after they get our pricing and want to compete against us on price – but they were higher before we came along).

Operable Windows

Our windows open and close (or not) just like your window does.  Many of our competitor’s windows do not open.

Many of our competitors do not offer operable windows.  We offer removable one piece and operable windows for the same pricing.  At least for our quality windows, operable does not mean less effective at stopping noise.

Cost Competitive

Most of our competition cost as much or more than our windows cost.

We can ship our windows via ground packages (NOT freight truck lines)

We purposely price our windows 25% lower than the costs of Soundproof Windows, Inc.

When you add the freight costs, that difference may be even higher.  Glass has to be shipped by freight lines (trucks – not UPS Package, etc.), which makes the cost even higher.  It also makes any competitor that uses glass more costly.  If it is glass and costs less including freight – something is really weird/suspect about that competitor.  All our glass competitors should cost more than our cost – even if they are trying to beat our prices, they just cannot cover their costs if they match our prices.

Prove It!

Buy just one and prove to yourself it works.  Buy one or ten – they cost the same.

Even if you have SERIOUS problems – perhaps you want to buy one test window to see how much it can help – THEN DECIDE if you want more Quiet Windows or you may want to move up to the better results windows from Soundproof Windows, Inc. Unlike buying a glass window, the shipping cost for each window is the same.  The low cost of shipping each window means you can buy just one and prove how well it works.  We offer great pricing – and we have the same pricing whether you buy one or 100 (no volume discounts).
