How Does Soundproof Glass Work?

Soundproof Windows do not Remove or Replace Your Existing Windows, they help make your windows better.

The windows are the major noise problem in over 90% of the cases.

Our soundproof windows are second windows placed behind your existing windows. Our windows insulate, stop drafts, soundproof and more. They open and close just like your existing windows, and offer more benefits than replacement windows – at a significantly lower cost.

What About Double Pane Windows?

While double pane windows do stop a little more noise than single pane windows, IGU (dual pane) glass is not very effective.

In a quiet environment, it becomes very quiet. In a noisy environment, you hardly notice the difference.

Our secret to a truly soundproof window? Laminated glass.

But, that’s not it. There is an air space between the two windows (the existing window and the new Soundproof window), so the frame is isolated from vibrations.

Can I Really Get Rid of the Noise?

Yes, we promise, you can. We are the leader in STC Ratings for window and noise suppression. We have tested our products over, and over again, ensuring that they work.

DIY soundproofing your home, or DIY soundproofing your studio seems like a budget saving option, but when you get down to it, the amount of materials and time spent on doing the project yourself will cost a pretty penny, on top of which, there is no guarantee that any of it will work.

We know from experience.

Because we’ve tried every.single.way. under the sun to soundproof our studio and homes ourselves – we created Soundproof Windows and Soundproof Studios. It was bound to happen – we found a million different ways how NOT to soundproof a room.
