Townhome Owner - Loud neighbors and barking dog

I just had to write to let you all know what an unbelievable product you have... I had two noise problems that were constant - on one side (I live in a townhouse so my patio is directly connected to the side of me and in back of me) I have neighbors that have outdoor parties at least once a week, on a week night, mind you, and they're outside on their patio until at least midnight, usually after... I could hear them as if my bedroom window was open.... and, the more they drank, the louder they got... yes, I called the police and complained to my homeowner's association - but the point was that they woke me up EVERY night they were out there and by the time I was able to go back to sleep - well, not a full night's rest plus the aggravation... My second source of noise is a yapping dog that lives behind me... if the dog is outside - it's yapping.... every night between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m., the dog goes out for it's last potty break and EVERY night it either woke me up or just made me tense up so that I had a hard time going to sleep, plus listening to it barking for 30-45 minutes every day/night... and again, I complained to my homeowner's association and even Animal Control, but the process takes forever to get somewhere and the dog's owner was extremely uncooperative and rude... just a negative that I didn't want to deal with... So, it became a nightmare every night for me, just waiting for the dog, the outdoor party and/or both, and really more or less ruined my ability to relax in my house, trying to get to sleep or just trying to relax after a long day.... I started looking for something to help block the noise... I couldn't find anything that was "soundproof" locally - and then I found you guys on the Internet... I finally ordered my window, just one for my bedroom, and it was installed about a month ago... OH MY GOD - what a truly wonderful product you have!!! It has given me back my "peace and quiet" which I thought I would never have again.... both sources of noise are muffled to the point that it's no longer disturbing and once you stop listening for them to start up - you no longer even hear it!!! I have slept through the night ever since getting my window... and the dog is still "there" and my neighbors just had a full 4th of July weekend of company and outdoor partying... I heard NOTHING... I just wanted to let you know that you've literally given me back the enjoyment that I used to have for my house... my bedroom is now like a "sanctuary" that I can retreat to even during the day when there's noise that I just want to get away from... your window is absolutely the best purchase I've ever made... you have an unbelievable product there... and everyone I dealt with, from Bob to Corie, were wonderful and, in fact, Bob is the first one I e-mailed with and he was so nice, so helpful and so professional - I knew that I had found a company that would be a pleasure to do business with... Your windows are phenomenal and I have recommended them to several friends with "noise problems"... Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.... Terry B. |
